Taking accommodation off landWorking with an international client, the challenge was to develop a concept that could introduce a new and unconventional way to stay — something between a holiday rental, a boat and a destination experience.The idea was essentially Airbnb on water, but it needed its own identity and a concept strong enough to communicate the experience across different locations and international markets.

Between land and waterBoatel doesn't quite belong to either traditional accommodation or boating. That in-between position became the opportunity.Rather than trying to fit the idea into an existing category, we used its unconventional nature as the starting point — creating a brand around the feeling of leaving familiar ground behind.

OfflandHUE developed Offland as the strategic and creative concept for Boatel.The name captures both the physical experience of staying on water and the mental shift that comes with stepping away from everyday surroundings. From there, we developed a visual and verbal direction designed to feel distinctive, contemporary and relevant to an international audience.
